Well every time I get on the family blog, there is nothing new so i decided to let you all know whats going on my life. First of all I think that I want to be a vet when I grow up(Let me know your thoughts on that). Second, My life is really boring. Third, I miss you and love you all. Fourth, I am in love with Mathew Mccononaughey. And thats my life summed up.

Good guess...

So Looks like no one was right on our guessing game! Hopefully someone is right about the boy or girl guess. I'm now questioning if I've just put on 20 pounds. Hopefully there really is a baby in there. I think this is a beautiful picture of our mom. She doesn't look like a grandma at all! Love you all and can't wait for you kids to come home for Thanksgiving!!!

INSPIROLOGY

We have a completely scientific method for determining who has the best connection with heaven. It is done by each member of the family predicting the gender and arrival date of our "Little Ray/Rae"

Please turn your spiritual ears and make your inspired (or not) prediction below.

Stafford: boy, Nov 14

Shelly: girl, Nov 16

Keeping Halloween Fresh

So. It turns out that Bridger and I have nobody to do couple costumes with except each other. So we took advantage of the fact.

The first day of revelry saw us
in the guise of classy American tourists.

Day two of our festivities, we
decided to kick it up a pop culture notch. Allow me to introduce Joe Jonas and Taylor Swift. Yes, I realize that they have been broken up for a year and a half, but I couldn't very well dress up as Ashley Greene, could I? At any rate, we keep Halloween fresh, Smith family style.

NH

The adventures of NH continue. I am pretty much in love with all the beauty that surounds me. The orchards in my front and back yard, the vegetable/flower garden where most people have a neighbor. So, Ty came out to NH to spend the weekend. We hiked up to and stayed at this great hut. Greenleaf hut is totally 'green', runs on solar and wind power, complete with compost and 'crapatorry'. It is staffed during the 3/4 of the year and sits on the ridge about 1 miles from the Mt. Lafayette summit. Very fun, you show up, pick a bunk and crash, they feed you a great breakfast and dinner (employees hike everything in and out), teach you all about the territory and give you tips and weather. We met some awesome families, hiked to the freezing summit with 30-50mph winds, hoarfrost everywhere and absolutely no views of the fall colors below. Needless to say, we had a blast. My future plans include moving back to DC at the end of this month, who knows after that.

New Pajamas. I'd like to teach the world to wear a trundle-bundle. These make everyday a better day than the day before. And you can take that to the bank.
